Yesterday’s LEAP masterclass at #SMWLAGOS brought together young professionals to learn the act of leveraging social media and virtual communities transforms and create better societies.
It focused on social issues, how communities have used these tools and how Nigerian youth can participate in social responsibility . The session taken by its Research and E-Learning Programme Coordinator, Ahmed Alaga was fun, educative, interesting and inspiring.
We examined social media learning as a subset of learning and initiating positive change; discussed values and its formation, corruption and ways to mitigate corrupt practices and highlighted tools for social engagement towards this cause.
It was an interactive session that started off with The Values Game, which received a positive reaction from participants.
